These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Spann ("Service"), operated at spann.app. By accessing or using Spann, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About Spann

Spann is a job search aggregator that retrieves and displays job listings from third-party sources including Adzuna, LinkedIn (via ScrapingDog), and Remotive. Spann does not post jobs, employ users, or act as a recruitment agency. We are a search and discovery tool only.

2. Use of the Service

You may use Spann for lawful personal job search purposes only. You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated tools
Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service
Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without permission

3. Third-party content

All job listings displayed on Spann are sourced from third-party providers. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legitimacy of any job listing. Spann is not responsible for:

The content, accuracy, or availability of third-party job listings
Any interactions, transactions, or disputes between you and a potential employer
Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on listings displayed on Spann

When you click through to a third-party job listing, you leave Spann and the terms and policies of that third-party site apply.

4. Intellectual property

The Spann name, wordmark, design, and original content are owned by Spann and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use the Spann name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.

Job listing content displayed on Spann remains the property of the respective third-party job boards and employers.

5. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPANN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY UAE LAW, SPANN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF REVENUE.

7. Advertising

Spann may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or similar third-party advertising networks. These advertisements are clearly distinguishable from job search results. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
